Memory foam (slow-rebound foam): Conforms to the hand shape and offers good cushioning, but tends to flatten with long-term use; fabric-covered versions are difficult to clean and can feel stuffy in summer.
Silicone (including "jelly" types): Bouncy and non-slip, washable, and highly durable; some low-quality products attract dust and feel too hard, so high-elasticity formulations are preferable.
Gel: Offers a distinct cooling sensation and excellent heat dissipation, making it ideal for summer or high-temperature environments; it rebounds quickly when pressed but is more expensive and can feel cold to the touch in winter.
PU synthetic leather/composite materials: Often used as the outer covering (with a memory foam core); wear-resistant, comfortable to the touch (not cold), easy to clean, and balances softness with support.
Others: A few are fabric-and-foam composites (attractive appearance but short lifespan) or made of resin/hard materials (require a soft wrist pad to avoid wrist injury).
